Pin Snipers wrap up East End League title
Pin Snipers officially wrapped up the league title with a 4-5 loss to Here We Come.
Snipers now enjoy a 26-point advantage over second place Habetes with two weeks to go.
Habetes downed Ten Pins 6-3 and could nail down second place next week.
Third place Spare Collectors won 7-2 over TLC.
Other scores saw Fireballs edge Trailblazers 5-4; and Up-N-Coming beat anchor team See-Breeze Strikers.
Derwin Smith had a good night as he topped 200 (203) and had a 538 series. 'Fish' Fishenden rolled a 193 while Alfred Wright had a 189. Graeme 'Flash' Furbert had a 514 series and Charles Swainson had a 504.
V. Roslyn Simmons was the top woman with a 234 game and 545 series. Hazel Lodge used her 190 as the foundation for her 498 series. Carolyn Amick (218) and Maryell Jackson (510) had the second high game and second high series for the women respectively.
