PHC climbs into second
Haascobe put the hammer down as it beat Sparks 28 to 2 in the Barritt’s League. The club has opened up a 24 game lead for first place.
PH Club moved into second place as Pembroke Jrs lost to Team Bouchee.
Vernon Daniels bowled a 584 series on the back of his 220 game.
Delmont Tucker had the high game with a 232.
LeVinc Samuels (220), Dean Lightbourn (574) and John Simons (571) all rolled well enough to make the honours’ list.

Amberfish continue to stretch their league lead as they beat bottom club Rainbow Runners 3 to 1.
John Adams was close to perfection with a 266 game.
Richard Zuill bowled a 246 while Lucky Pitcher chimed in with a 224.
Hanny Consolacion had the high handicap series with a 697 followed by Elvin Thomas (655) and Tony Madeiros (650).
June Simons rolled a 210 to have the high scratch game among the women.
Gina James got over the 200 mark by one pin while Patrice Tucker rolled a 195.
Felicia Stevens rolled the high handicap series with a 683 followed by Simons (677) and Sheila Easton (647).

The Invaders walked off the week’s biggest triumph as they downed Odd Balls 29 to 1.
Harold Minors rolled a 655 series off the back of his 246 game.
Damon Smith was also in good form as he bowled a 253 game — one pin ahead of Wassy Smith.
Skeets Zuill (613) and Sheldon Thompson (611) also made the honours’ list.
Patrice Tucker had a 537 series to lead the women, which edged out Rochelle Harvey (527) and Pat Price (526).
Joan Burgess had the high game for women with a 213 followed by Harvey (195) and Lynch (193).

Commercial League
The rest of the teams will start having to dial long distance if they want to catch up with BTC.
The table toppers extended their lead by another two games last week with a 4-0 whitewash of DC Braves.
Larry Furbert led all bowlers with a 215 game, which was one pin better than Wendell Smith and three better than the top woman, Zina Jones.
John Adams had a 196 and also making the honours’ list were Tine Sims (189) and Kennelyn Smith (169).
Furbert also grabbed the high handicap series honours with a 677. Adams (640) and Wendell Smith (637) followed him on the men’s side.
Sims was the best woman with a 527. Jones (487) and Kennelyn Smith (453) rounded out the women’s list.
