PH Club continued their run to the title with a 24 to 6 triumph over Young Bloods in the Barritts League. Second place Pembroke Juniors did not play their match with Logic Rollers.

Ty Williams was in good form again with a fine 258 game and spectacular 707 series. Hilton Hayward had a 238 game while Casey Burgess too third high honours with a 214. Raymond Burchall's 611 was good enough for second high series while Anthony Smith (587) was third.

Fishbowl League

Marlins and Porgies kept pace with each other as they both picked up 4-0 wins this past Friday at Warwick Lanes.

Patrice Tucker was on fire with a 245 and 253 game to lead all bowlers. Lucky Pitcher was the high man with a 215. Alpheus Santucci and Manny Marcellano both rolled 213s. Gladwin Harvey (203), Joe Lam (202) and Donna Doyle (201) all picked up 200 games.

Tucker had the high handicap series for women with a 706 while Joe Lam was the high man with a 714.

Scores: Marlins 4, Flying Fish 0; Hinds 0, Porgies 4; Piranhas 3, Cow Pollies 1; Dolphins 3, Wahoo 1; Hog Fish 1, Tuna 3; Mackerel 1, Snappers 3.

Mixed Majors League

Untouchables are an improbable candidate for the league title, but they made an impressive bid to stay close with a 20-0 victory over Try Hards. Top team Minmax fell 13 to 7 to Mix Ups, throwing the title into doubt.

Karen Minors had a 216 game to front all women, while Josie Richardson (213) and Debbie Ball (206) also topped 200. Gang in Blue's David Maycock missed his second perfect game of the season and ended with a 278. Robert Dill (262) and Philip Francis (253) also had tremendous games.

Dill had a 700 series, besting maycock by 18 pins. Both Philip Francis and Anthony Smith had a Devil series - 666.

Josie Richardson bowled the high series for women with a 556. Patrice Tucker was second with a 548 while Millicent Francis (535) had third high series honours.

Scores: Untouchables 20, Try Hards 0; Fight Back 19, Movers N Shakers 1; Gang in Blue 17, Strikers 3; Mix Ups 13, Minmax Forwarders 7; Strike Force 13, Troublemakers 7; Activators 11, True Mix 9.
