Perozzi, 33, will be putting her North American Boxing Council title up for grabs while Sandell will be laying her WBE belt on the line. To sweeten the pot, the World Boxing Council Intercontinental will be throwing in their title to give the fight's winner three titles to fasten to their waist when the six round bout is finished.
And with a rematch already scheduled for February, the pair could also then end up fighting for the vacant WBC title.
Perozzi is confident that she's in the best shape of her life as she meets Sandell on foreign soil on September 15.
"I feel great. Every fight I think I'm in good shape, but this one I definitely notice the work I've done with the trainer," Perozzi said.
She spent 10 days with Rick Sweeney in New York and he also worked with her here for 11 days as she goes for the biggest title defence of her life.
"I've noticed I'm faster in my sparring. I did a five mile road race and took two and half minutes off my time," she said.
Perozzi has won three times with unanimous home victories over Martha Dietchman, Roselin Morales and Yvonne Reis since she knocked out Scroller Carrington in Trinidad.
"I'm looking forward to fighting in Sweden and I actually prefer it because the pressure is off of me. I don't have to help organize anything so I can totally focus on training."
Perozzi's entourage will include just three people - her boyfriend, Sweeney and her mom Claire Quinlan, who will be flying out from Los Angeles.
Perozzi will leave Bermuda next Tuesday, arrive in Sweden on Wednesday, attend a press conference on Thursday before the weigh-in on Friday.
She said that the bout's organizers would like the fighters to train in the outdoor ring as much as possible to help drum up press coverage, but Perozzi says she doesn't want to give away too much to prying eyes.
Perozzi says that while she may be fighting on Sandell's home turf, a knock out won't be necessary to win the fight.
No knockout
"I'd love a knockout, but I only have one on my record," she said. "My strategy for this one is for every punch she throws is to throw three or four punches. I want to make it so obvious that I'm beating this girl every round.
"I'm working on this big overhand left and it's been working really well in my sparring so I definitely want to use it. I'd love a knock out, but I feel I'm in great shape to go all out for six rounds."
Win, lose or draw, Perozzi said she would fight Sandell again in February in Denmark with the possibility of the WBC middleweight title also in the mix.
"I put it in my clause (for the rematch). I don't want to assume there will be a home town decision because I hate when these girls do it with me so I have no intention of doing that. But just in case, because she's very, very popular over there and well promoted so they need her to win."[[In-content Ad]]
