P & M 25, Eacy Grlz 0

It took just three innings for P & M Electri-cutes to dismantle Eacy Grlz 25 to 0 in a women's softball game. The Grlz just managed to get through their order once before the game was called because of the mercy rule. Akanke Parsons and Carla Govia managed to get the only hits in the losing cause.

Kortney Cotton (4-4, 3 RBI) and Carla Zuill (3-3, 3 doubles) led the 17-hit parade for P & M. Rose Richards (1-2), Charlene Corday (1-2) and Sheila Legacy (3-3) all drove in three runs for the winners.

A 14-run third inning put this game away.

Eacy Grlz 26, Comets 11

Eacy Grlz scored seven runs back-to-back in the second and third innings to run away with this contest against Comets.

Donette Daniels (5-5) homered and drove in 10 runs for the Grlz while teammate Winitte Thomas and Melissa Brangman were both 4-5. Allana Bean, Carla Goiva and Jenny Faries all drove in three runs for the winners.

Tacme Thompson was 4-4 for Comets while teammate Tachae King was 3-4 with six RBI.

Café Cairo 12, Swizzle Inn 11

Edith Beek's run scoring fielder's choice proved to be the difference as Café Cairo scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to slip past the Swizzle Inn Sluggers.

Cleanup hitter Joanie Harper had the big bat for Cairo as she was 3-3 and drove in six runs. Centrefielder Jill Hergott (2-4 also drove in three runs and Roseann Wall (3-4) drove in one.

Lianne Lionardi (3-4) collected four RBI for Swizzle while teammates Robin Campbell, Kristin Thomas and Erin Ashley were all 2-4.

JLT Park 20, KPMG 19

KPMG scored four runs in the last inning but it wasn't enough as they fell to JLT Park.

Steve Ng'Ang'A (3-5) started the fightback for Park with a single. Cam Maffitt (3-5, HR) drove him home. KPMG would get four more hits with two outs, but Marc Laing's (4-5) would be the last in the two-out comeback attempt.

JLT, which played the game with only nine players, got a great effort out of pitcher Patrick Kenahan, who was 4-5 and hit for the cycle (single, double, triple and home run).

Leadoff batter Tim Proctor was 4-6.

PWC 15, BNY 10

Sean Kelly helped PWC to a five-run victory against BNY. The secondbaseman was 4-4 while teammate Daniel Nesbitt (2-4) homered. Tyler Johansen (2-4) drove in four runs from the bottom of the lineup for PWC. Justin McDonald (3-5) also had 3 RBI.

John Thorne was 4-4 for BNY while Bervin Lee was 3-3.

Docksiders 15, ACE 11

ACE led this game 8 to 3 before the offence sputtered to a stop as they finished the A Division winless. ACE was the only team who finished the season not to win a game.

Both Adam Mattal (2 HRs) and Steven Simons were 3-4 for Docksiders. Braxton Stowe (2-4) also homered for the victors.

Joe Bellanca (4-4) and Paul DeCouto (2-4) homered for ACE with Bellanca hitting two out of the park. Louis Gariepy and Don Burgess were 2-3 in the losing cause.[[In-content Ad]]
