Sunday, June 26: Bermuda's regional Twenty20 World Cup plans has suffered a setback with the omission of star batsman Stephen Outerbridge from the squad.

National coach David Moore today confirmed that the Bailey's Bay player withdrew, citing "work commitments" as the reason for doing so.

Replacing the stylish left-handed opening batsman is Bay team-mate Dennico Hollis, Moore said.

Bermuda depart for Fort Lauderdale, Florida for regional Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers July 17.

Moore's men will face Suriname in their opening match, with the eventual top two teams,
along with Canada, progressing to next year's global qualifiers.[[In-content Ad]]
