Olde Towne Market asks local vendors to pitch in

By Leanne [email protected] | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

Vendors are being invited to pitch up a stall at the St. George’s Olde Towne Market in the lead up to Christmas.

Drawing on the town’s history as a trading post, it will be a traditional-style affair aimed at revitalizing the area.

It will also enable established businesses to work alongside up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

The market will be held on Sundays from 2-6pm from October 31 until December 19 at King’s Square, Market Wharf (by the Ducking Stool) and Water Street.

On offer for shoppers will be fresh local produce, arts and crafts, food and a pedlars’ market.

For vendor applications or more information about the market, call 296-6185 or e-mail oldetownemarket@ yahoo.com
