Oatley wins gold at Caribbean Championships
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16: Daniel Oatley picked up gold for Bermuda this weekend at the Caribbean Cycling Championships.
The young Bermudian finished at the top of the podium in the Juvenile Time Trial event on Saturday morning in the Dominican Republic.
He finished five seconds faster than his nearest rival.
The Saltus student later posted on Facebook: "It's been about two and a half hours since I was standing on the podium and I still in shock.
"Never had I imagined I'd win gold in my first year.
"A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me so far."
