“Right now it’s free so they can mingle around.
“They can come into the pits throughout the day and ask questions to the drivers.
North added: “Luis Martins is an old kart racer who is back out. Steven Bridges and Steven Flood are going to be teaming up. There is an interest in some older drivers in coming back out.

He said the first race day was washed out by rain, but every driver who showed up got 25 points for the championship series.
He said the numbers are small now, but he hopes to build it throughout the season. North added he would like to get around 30 karts per race day, which he admits “is pretty far-fetched right now. It would be phenomenal if we could, but that’s two or three years from now.
“We have to take small steps to get there.”
