Mohawks are on the winning warpath in Warriors League

FRIDAY, JAN. 4: The second half of the Warriors League will begin on Friday at Warwick Lanes.

Mohawk are the current leaders on 39 points followed by Commanche at three points back.

Mark Gibbons has the season high scratch game with a 258 followed by Terry Gibbons’ 243 and Raphael Simons. Gregory Focke has the high handicap game with a 309 with Eugene Ball at 292. Both Maxwell Hassell and Tremayne Bean have 269s.

The high scratch series by a man is Jamel Bean with a 638, who also has the highest average with a 181.50.

Eldon Landy (608) is the only other bowler over 600. Robin Simmons has a 570 for the third high honour.

The top handicap series is a 727 by Greg Woods followed by victor Fishington (716) and George Dowling (705).

Sharon Bean has the high scratch game by a woman with a 243. Tiffany Caisey (225) and Charlene Charves (220) are second and third.

Audrey Gordon has the high handicap game by a woman with a 281, just one pin ahead of Rebekah Darrell. Malikah Symonds is third with a 268.

Marjorie Armstrong’s 598 is the highest scratch series by a woman with Sandra Ford second with a 576 and Zural Abbott third at 537.

Shakeela Carter has the high handicap series by a woman with a 733, two pins in front of Odell Zuill. Princine Bailey is third with a 700.

Tiffany Caisey has the highest average by a woman with a 179.67, which is the second highest average in the league behind Bean.

Fishbowl League

The Fishbowl League also returns to action at Warwick Lanes.

Marlins come out of the Christmas break just a half game ahead of Rockfish, but there is a tight pack of four teams at the top of the Fishwbowl League.

Goldfish are a game back of Marlins and the Porgies are just 1.5 behind the leaders.
