Geri Mewett of Team Hincape rode away with race three of the IBC Criterium Series in Hamilton on Sunday.

The US based Bermuda rider was visiting to run a junior camp for two dozen young cyclists last week.

Darren Glasford of Team Winner’s Edge and Damian Sharp of Fast Forward Bicycle Works rounded out the top three.

Team Madison’s Dominique Mayho made a big jump off the front of the race early on and held it for quite a while.

He was chased by Neil De Ste Croix and Tre-Shun Correia.

The chase ultimately failed but Mayho was eventually caught by the pack.  Mark Godfrey attempted a late escape but was brought back by the group. The race ended in a sprint finish with Mewett taking the spoils.

The race followed a half-mile loop around Victoria Park incorporating Park Road with the start / finish line outside MSA.

In the sprint finish for second place Mtume Hart beat out Stephen Tomlinson of Fast Forward Bicycle Works.

The adult C race was won by Martin Bolton of Fast Forward Bicycle Works, with Tokio rider Nigel Godfrey and Dnarte Lima rounding out the top three.  The Junior A race saw Rico Smith come out ahead of Fast Forward Bicycle Works riders Molly and Charlie Pilgrim.

Zion Dowling of Team Focus was first across the line in the Junior B race with Alex Pilgrim of Fast Forward Bicycle Works and Victoria Davis of Winners Edge finishing second and third respectively.

Fast Forward Bicycle Works rider Nicholas Pilgrim beat out Crime Stoppers Jayden Ming and Malik Joell in the Junior C race.

Anthony Rico Smith leads Daniel Oatley and Gabriella Arnold in the Junior A series.  Zion Dowling, Alex Pilgrim and Victoria Davis round out the top three in the Junior B standings.  Nicholas Pilgrim, Jayden Ming and Malik Joell round out the top three in the Junior C standings.
