WEDNESDAY, FEB. 1: Dominique Mayho continued his domination of cycling.

He placed first in Sunday’s The Latter Rain Water Series at Fort Scaur, marking his third consecutive victory.

Mark Hatherley picked up his first second of the season and finishing third in the opening two races and strengthened his position as the best person to challenge Mayho for the overall title.

Hans Hirschi was third at Fort Scaur while Mark Brown is third overall.

It was a tale of the young and the veterans in the Men’s B race. Kent Richardson took first over improving teen Daniel Oatley with Mannard Packwood third.

Packwood and Richardson are tied for the series lead with 60 points each while Brian Steinhoff is third overall.

Philandro Hill added his second win in the Novice men’s category with Eric Hetzel taking home second and Sean Correia coming in third.

Those three, in that same order, hold down the top spots for the series lead.

Wenda Roberts (see photo on page 45) was unchallenged in the Women’s category.

Daniel Hetzel, Robin Horsfield and Evan Watkins came in first through third respectively in the Boys 13 to 16 age group while Gabriella Arnold, Tristan Narraway and Jessica Godfrey did the same in the Girls 13 to 16.

Matthew Oliveira beat out Alex Bordage and Alex Aroujo for first in the Boys 12 & Under while Alyssa Rowse took first in the Girls 12 & Under.
