Lowe's two homers lift P & M Electric to 14 to 9 victory
P & M Electric 14, Marsh Madness 9
Marsh scored six times in the seventh inning to make this game closer than it really was. McLaren Lowe (3-4) smashed two homers, including a first inning grand slam and drove in seven runs for P & M, who remain one point out of first but have a game in hand. Diane Blais and Mark Herauf were both 3-3 with John Ray going 3-4.
Justin Thomas (3-4) hit a first inning three-run shot for Marsh while Sam Peters and Bob Petty were both 2-4.
Soundstage 29, Volcanic Uzi Fish 14
An 18-run second inning gave Soundstage control of this contest as Steve Simons (3-3) hit a three-run homer and drove in six runs on the night. The game ended on the mercy rule when Ryan Rabain (3-4) was issued a bases loaded walk. Matthew Hayward (HR, 5 RBI), Les Dziwenka and Don Burgess were all 3-5 for the winners.
Cam Moffitt (3-4), Greg Bell (1-4) and Ryan Davidge (2-4) all homered for Uzi Fish.
B Division
Argus 23, Scared Hitless 18
Tory Richard had a legendary night in securing the win for Argus. The shortstop was 6-6 with two homers and seven RBI. Cleanup hitter Dean Fudge (4-6) and Wayne Ferguson (3-5) also got the job done for Argus.
Leading the way for Hitless were Owen Darrell (3-4) an Lavarr Bennett (3-5).
Caceis 15, Robin Hood 2
Robin Hood was limited to 10 hits as Caceis had all the runs they needed by the third inning. Cleanup hitter Dwayne Basden (3-5) homered and drove in five runs while team-mates Dean Douglas and Jeff Jane were both 3-4 in the win.
Brent Preece and Sephane Dougay were 2-3 for Robin Hood.
Bermuda Blueprinting 19, PwC 12
Dennis Joell was 4-5 for Blue as they collected 20 hits. Chris Osbourne (3-5) hit a first inning homer to get Blue headed in the right direction. Keith Bridges, Sreven Bridges, Ian Bridges, David Gibbons and Steven Flood all had two hits for Blue. Britt Burns and Scott Slater were 3-5 for PwC.
C Division
TBI High Speeders 25, JLT Park 7
TBI scored seven in the first, eight in the second and seven in the third as they hammered JLT Park to remain in first place. Andrew McDowell (2-4) homered and drove home five runs for TBI while team-mates Bradley Barton and Kriss Pitcher were both 3-3. Barton hit two out of the park.
David Lovell and Chris Heinicke were both 3-3 for JLT.
BNY 19, JLT 7
John Jackson crunched three homers and plated nine runners as he helped lead BNY to the win. Jeff Walker and Andy Smith set the table at the top of the order by going 3-5.
Chris Heinike (4-4) and Justin Brookes (3-3) were both perfect at the plate for JLT.
CITI 12, TBI 11
Antoine Frias (3-5) completed a great comeback for CITI with an RBI double in the bottom of the seventh. CITI scored five times in the last inning to give TBI their only loss on the season. Sheila Legacy was 2-3 for CITI while Mike Gentile and Mike Korff were both 2-4.
Shawn Tucker and Bradley Barton were both 3-4 for TBI, with Barton having another two-homer night.
KPMG 24, TPC 7
KPMG rolled to the mercy win taking advantage of several TPC errors. David Shead and Matt Mahan were both 3-4 for the victors. Jumaine Davis was 3-3 with two doubles for TPC.[[In-content Ad]]
