She recently completed the Underwriting Graduate Trainee Programme.
In addition, ACE Bermuda announced Marco Greenidge has been selected as the 2012 underwriting graduate trainee.
The two-year graduate programme includes: various learning methodologies, international business travel, and participation in ACE's overseas orientation programme.
The aim of the Graduate Trainee Programme is to provide Bermudians who wish to pursue a career in underwriting with professional and personal development opportunities while gaining practical work experience.
ACE Bermuda also has two other trainee participants who are expected to complete the programme in 2013.
Mrs Lewis joined ACE Bermuda in 2010 as the first underwriting graduate trainee.
She also recently achieved her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
Mrs Lewis said in a press release: “The webinars, seminars and professional workshops provided me with a thorough understanding of ACE and the global insurance industry.
“In addition, my manager and colleagues in the professional lines team played a critical role in providing a hands-on approach, which allowed me to acquire the practical and technical skills required in underwriting.”
Mr Greenidge will start his training in ACE Bermuda's Property Department. He said: “I am excited and honoured to be selected for the Graduate Trainee Programme. This is an excellent opportunity for me to pursue my career and take advantage of the professional development programmes offered by ACE.”
Rees Fletcher, division president, ACE Bermuda said, "Kimberly has been an outstanding trainee and is a talented addition to our Professional Lines team. I am also delighted to welcome Marco to ACE and trust that he will find the Underwriting Graduate Trainee Programme a rewarding and valuable experience. I look forwarding to working with both of them as they embark on their careers within ACE."
