Letter - PLP pulled the strings
I was interested in a letter to the media by Mr Fahy, Chairman of the UBP. He listed a number of acts and regulations brought about for the good of Bermuda during the rule of the UBP. As a neutral observer I wonder how much of that would have been accomplished had it not been for the PLP advocacy.
During the 1970s when my business, which went on from 1962 to 2004, was going through hell because of racism, I would often say the only good for the country done by the UBP without being told by PLP was installation of the Paget traffic lights.
