Dear Sir,

I feel compelled to write, after your article in yesterday's Sun [Wednesday, April 23]. There cannot be many places in the world that offer bus journeys with such wonderful, scenic routes ... but there is no doubt about it, there should be:

•  a more frequent service to most, if not all destinations;
•  more buses running in the evening and weekends (my No. 2 doesn’t run at all on Sundays for example) with fewer gaps between ALL destinations and, ideally;
•  simply more buses to more places.

It's a great service, the drivers are friendly, helpful and considerate, and it's very good value (which I think people take for granted here).

I wish someone could put pressure on the powers that be to make this happen. The whole system really does need improving.
