Kenya wary of Bermuda
Kenya, who crushed Canada by nine wickets in their only other match so far in this competition, are one of the favourites to win the eight-team tournament and Njuguna is leaving nothing to chance.
"Like any other opponent, we will respect Bermuda and will try to play as hard as possible.
"A 3-0 (ODI series) victory was thoroughly celebrated but that is now something of the past.
"We have to stay focused and composed without taking things for granted."
The Kenya coach also warned that the match is likely to be hard work for the bowlers. "Traditionally Nairobi Gymkhana has always been a batsman's paradise.
"My advice to the bowlers will be to bowl as straight as possible, keep patience and wait for the batsmen to make mistakes."
Bermuda has struggled so far in this competition, losing both its matches to the Netherlands (by an innings and 44 runs) and Ireland (by an innings and 146 runs) on the ill-fated tour of Europe earlier this year,
Bermuda will be without Stephen Oouterbridge for the clash. The opener injured his knee in the field against Kenya and has been sidelined for eight weeks. Azeem Pitcher is likely to open in his stead.
The ICC Intercontinental Cup is an eight-team, round-robin tournament played over two years and featuring the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, UAE, Kenya, Namibia and Canada.[[In-content Ad]]
