'It's like someone sprinkled pixie dust on your island'
THURSDAY, APRIL 12: Rosewood Tucker’s Point’s new managing director praised Bermuda for being a “superb location”.
Duncan Graham has more than 25 years of experience managing luxury hotel properties around the globe and most recently led Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek since May 2007.
Speaking at a press conference today, Mr Graham said: “I was coming in yesterday and I have never heard this before on an airplane.
“I heard gasps as people saw your beautiful island for the first time.
“I have run several hotels and for five years I have been running Rosewood Turtle Creek.
“When I started working at each of those hotels, we have never had what we have here, we have a superb location.”
He continued: “It’s like someone sprinkled pixie dust on your island.
“I came here for the first time two and a half months ago.
“From the moment I arrived, I don’t think I have met friendlier more professional people.
“What we can do is make this one of the finest hotels in the world.
“We are really going to put Bermuda back on the map so that all those affluent travellers within two hours of Bermuda all spend their money on this island.”
Mr Graham has worked for St Regis Hotels, Four Seasons, Regent Hotels and Forte Hotels in Europe.
