If you're worried about our reputation, why point fingers at the Premier?

Dear Sir,

Senator Bob Richards has expressed concern about our international reputation because of the arrest of Mr. Dennis.

But the effort to turn alleged unethical conduct into criminal charges against the Premier was just as likely to impact our international reputation even without the arrest of Mr. Dennis.

Despite the news articles and the events being covered there is still a difference between unethical and

illegal.

The abuse of seniors was unethical but not illegal.

The laws - and no one has said which laws - did not just become antiquated in the last nine years.

Why were they not updated during what Mr. Dunkley calls "our long history of integrity" under the UBP?

We are hearing a lot about "stability". I can think of nothing more destabilizing than trying to back date illegality on the basis of laws that have not even been passed.
