Hunter slam not enough for the Beach

The Beach scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning, then promptly gave back four as they dropped an 11-10 heartbreaker to Endurance. Dianne Blais (2/4) tied the game in the final inning before Pat Kennehan (2/2, 2 RBI) ended the game. Kevin Hunter (3/4, 5 RBI) hit a grand slam which nearly stood as the game-winner for Beach.

Bulldawgs pushed four runners across the plate in the opening frame, as they upset division-leading Allpoints by 12-4. Brian Ward (4 RBI) homered twice in the win, with Ron Mystyk adding three hits. Scott Montreiul collected three hits in the loss.

Bermuda Blueprinting scored an insurance run in the sixth, as they edged AF Smith by 15-13. Ernest McCallan (3/4, 3 RBI) went deep and Keith Bridges punched three hits to lead the way. Dan Kidd (4 RBI) hit a three-run shot in defeat.

D&J Construction scored a dozen runs over the first two innings, as they coasted to a 20-8 victory over Logic. Jahmall Mills (3/5) drove in five runs for D&J, while Liz Blanchard (3/4) brought in two. Andy Wetmuller hit a three-run homerun for Logic.

Marsh crushed Deloitte by 19-1. Joel Czember (4 RBI) and Joe Fassler (3/4, 2 RBI) went deep for Marsh. Doug Woloshyn doubled home the lone run for Deloitte.

TBI Highspeeders scored eight times in the fifth inning in a 19-10 comeback win over KPMG. Chris Pitcher (3/4, 5 RBI) homered and Angela Ambrosini drove in two runs. James Makin (3/5) drove in three runs in the loss.

PwC knocked off BNY by 10-6, scoring three times in the fourth to put the game away. Will Caulder (3/4) drove in three runs for PwC. Ashley Hawksworth collected two hits to lead BNY.

Hammer-heads scored three runs in the final inning to slip by MCS by 10-9. Hannah Emmerson (2/4) drove in a run and Alex Smith (3 RBI) doubled home the game-winning runs. Ian McNamara (4/4) doubled twice and knocked in six runs for MCS.

BEST Shipping opened with ten runs en route to a narrow 15-13 win over Killer Goldfish. Jimmy Wong (2/3) drove in three runs for BEST. Matt Durrant (4/5) and Thomas Greenslade (4/5) combined for eight hits to drive in nine runs in the loss.

IAS broke out for seven runs in the fourth, but fell 17-10 to E&Y. Dale Brown (5/6) collected three extra-base hits to drive in seven, while Mandy Palsat drove in two runs. Jeff Jane (3/5) drove in three runs for IAS.

JLT Taipans blasted Bermy Lush Kiskadees by 21-12. Bob Hansberry (4/5) cracked a pair of homeruns and drove in eight runs for JLT, while Sam Adams added three hits. Lloyd Peterkin (3/4) drove in three runs in defeat.[[In-content Ad]]
