WEDNESDAY, OCT. 10: The first meet of The Bermuda Hunt Club season rode out in their finery on Sunday racing around Warwick and Southampton.
Led by Hunt Master Mark Richardson — who with his team won the event — 30 horses and their riders took to the trail sniffing out hidden markers. The Bermuda Sun caught up with the group minutes before they took off from the Southlands property. The horses were clearly ready for the challenge as they waited impatiently for the call.
This is one of a few opportunities that local horses and riders get to explore Bermuda’s privately owned as well as Government protected woodland.
