JayLynn Hines
Bermuda's up and coming show jumping rider, JayLynn Hines, will be using her Government Sports Award to best of her advantage this summer. She has a very full schedule ahead which will include the privilege of travelling to two major showjumping competition grounds on two different continents.
Hines will travel with Heidi Mello, Bermuda Chef D' Equipe, to Calgary, Alberta to Spruce Meadows in the first week of July.
There, she will spend 10 days with top American show jumpers Molly Ashe and Lesley Howard, and learn how the game is played at the top level,
Hines will then move on to Aachen, Germany where she will spend seven weeks training and showing with top German Trainer, Helena (Weinberg) Stormanns.
Hines will attend the World Equestrian Festival at the Aachen show grounds where she will see the best riders and horses of the world competing in showjumping.
