They'll be cries of 'break up the Goldfish' in the Fishbowl League after the team drubbed another opponent into submission. Goldfish blanked Hammerheads 4-0 and ran its record to 19-1. The team now has a 4.5 point lead over second place Porgies, who beat Piranhas 3-1.

Flying Fish managed not to lose any ground to Goldfish as they took all four points from Snappers.

Cow Pollies and Barracuda both ran out 3-1 winners with Pollies beating Mackerel and Barracuda defeating Tuna.

Other scores Hinds beat Marlins 3-1 while Wahoo and Dolphins split.

Barritt's League

Sparks passed both PHC and Pemboke Jrs. as the new league leader. Mind you, it happened through an unusual set of circumstances. Sparks picked up the full 30 points when The Old & The New defaulted to them; PHC's match against Young Bloods didn't take place so they weren't able to get any points; and Pembroke Jrs. were forced to struggle as they beat Southside Two 18 to 12.

That flipped the standings with Sparks enjoying a rare lead over its league rivals.

Other scores saw Buy & Sell defeat Logic Rollers 21 to 9 and Stash T down Southside One 24 to 6.

Ellsworth Bean rolled a 267 game while Michael Honore (232) and Gladwin Harvey (224) also bowled well.

Standings: 1. Sparks 113-37; 2. Pembroke Jrs. 106.5-43.5; 3. PHC 93.5-26.5; 4. Southside Two 93.5-56.5; 5. Stash T 80.5-69.5; 6. Southside 1 62-88; 7. Logic Rollers 58-92; 8. Buy & Sell 58-92; 9. Young Bloods 41-79; 10. The Old & the New 14-136.
