Frank sweeps four karting races
Brandon Frank could open up his own driving school as the karter brought home four chequered flags last race day.
Frank picked up 100 points in the TAG Senior Class for his day of perfection.
Those wins helped keep hope that Jason ‘Skuzzie’ North’s points lead can be overcome.
North leads the class with 493 points with David Barbosa 24 points back and the #50 kart, the one Frank’s was driving on Sunday, 54 points adrift of first.
Andrew DeCosta was unchallenged in the 125cc Shifter Class. Scott Barnes is the overall leader with 333 points followed by Frank (282 points) and DeCosta (225 points).
David Brewster picked up the lion’s share of the spoils in the Senior In Clone Class after a trio of drivers were disqualified in the third heat, which is the double points race.
The disqualification left Brewster adding 40 points to his total while his rivals were left with nothing.
Brewster also won two other heats and finished fourth. He had 93 points on Sunday.
Blake Camara won the other heat and had 35 points total. Justin Frank (49 points) was second overall on Sunday while David DeCosta earned 32 points for two races.
