Flyers ground Smith
Smith scored first as Dann Kidd (2-4) singled in the second and was brought home on Dustin Archibald's (1-3) RBI single.
Frontier took the lead in the second as both Jevanie Fubler and Dacosta Larrier (2-5) reached on a fielder's choice and eventually scored. Frontier bashed out six hits in the third to go up 8-1 as a Tracey Bean (3-5) triple and a Garic Swainson double (1-4) both plated two runs.
Smith scored Chris McLean (2-4) in the fourth and Carl Seymour (1-4) and Shawn Palmer (1-3) in the sixth.
Bean scored Frontier's last run as he hit his second triple of the game in the top of the ninth and scored on an error.
Tuff Dogs 30, Hit n Sit 5
Men's division favourites Tuff Dogs banged out 29 hits on their way to a 30 to 5 mercy win. The Dogs scored their first seven batters of the game and never looked back. Leadoff man Ryan Gaglio was 5-5 with three doubles, scored five times and had four RBI.
Former Sea Venture star Terence Corday was 4-6 and knocked home six runs for his new team while cleanup hitter Kevin Taylor was also 4-6, driving home three runs.
The big inning for the Dogs was the fourth, when they sent 19 men to the plate and scored 15 of them - 14 of them after two outs.
