Fishbowl, Commercial results


The Marlins were devoured by the Piranhas 3-1. That loss coupled with a Snappers 3-1 victory, left the Marlins with a 4.5 point lead.

Porgies had the only whitewash of the week as they beat Cow Pollies 4-0. Goldfish and Hinds drew 2-2. Other scores saw Mackerel flip Dolphins 3-1; Orca beat Jellyfish 3-1 and Tuna catch Wahoo 3-1.

There were plenty of 200s to go around as Jackie MIller led the way with a 236, barely edging John Adams’ 235. Other 200s were rolled by Quinton Mallory (225), Hilton Hayward (225), Joanie Harper (227) and Joseph Benevides (202)

High series honours were won by Olivette Armstong (635) and Mallory (688).

Commercial League

BTC roared back to life last week in taking three points from Strikers. The former leaders gained on King Pins who were swept by Sunset 4-0. Sunset had a second best 2,518 pin series in working the whitewash.

Other scores saw Braves have no problems with Double Trouble as they grabbed all four points; Sweet Life took three of four from Spinners; and Do It Best Masters do likewise to the Royal Gazette.

Troy Darrell rolled a 258 game to lead all bowlers. Kenneth Ford (249) and Aesop Smith (212) also rolled well. Darrell also had the high series with a 707.

Malikah Symonds was the top female bowler with a 204 game. Other top scores were rolled by Christine Adams (194) and Sharon DeShields (183). Carla Clarke won high series honours with a 656.
