WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24: Shannon Caisey roared to three victories in the Superbike Class on Sunday.
The wins allowed the Pizza House rider to extend his lead in the class to over 100 points over Bryce Place from Team 911 Racing.
Place had a tough day at the Bermuda Motorsports Track as the best he could do was a third place finish in the first race.
Cody Sousa-Saints had two seconds and a third to pick up 56 points while Ed Daniels had 49 points. Daniels is third overall while Sousa-Saints is fourth.
Team Tuned’s Bruce Degrilla swept the three races in the GP 125 Class. Degrilla was able to get some breathing room on Jordan Fletcher, who struggled with a second, third and fifth on the day.
Degrilla was able to extend his overall lead from seven points to 35 points.
Wytiko Showers rode well with two seconds and a fourth as he closed the gap on Kenneth DeSilva for third overall.
Keanu Wilson made his class debut for the year and had two fourths. Koshun Durrant was fourth overall on the day.
Cyril Whitter was sixth in the day’s opening race and but did not start the last two heats.
DeSilva looked poised to dominate the Scooter Class as he won the opening heat but did not race in the last two heats. That left the door open for first race runner-up Ricardo Wade who took the chequered flag in the last two races.
Wade is dominating the class and has a commanding 260-point lead over Carlos Cardoza.
Dean Jones made his debut and had two seconds to go along with his third place.
Pizza House’s Jazari Caisey was third in the first heat in the MiniGP Class, but learned his lessons well as he rode off with victories in the last two races. Haley Place won that first heat before settling into second for the last two heats.
Her 911 teammate Taznae Fubler had a second and two thirds.
Caisey has a 48-point lead over Place for the overall title with Shae Darrell dropping to third after missing Sunday’s races. Fubler is in fourth.
Team 911 Racing continued to stamp its authority on the Mini Bike Open Class. Monique Waite won the opening race while 911 teammate Coleridge took the last two heats. Tamia Place, also from 911, took three seconds.
Place leads the class with 415 points with Fubler in second and Waite in third.
