Eversley bests North for four firsts
Steven Eversley turned up the heat in the TAG class by winning all four races on Sunday. Overall leader Jason ‘Skuzzie’ North had to settle for second in all four heats.
David Barbosa had two thirds and two fourths to finish third on the day.
Luis Martin claimed third place in the final two heats at Southside Raceway.
Shannon Caisey won three of four races in the 125cc Shifter Class driving Scott Barnes kart. Devon Durrant won the third heat and was second three times.
Barnes has a 130-point advantage over Andre DeCosta while Brandon Frank is third overall. Durrant picked up enough points to move up to fifth in the standings out of 10 drivers.
Steven Corrado won three of the four races in the Junior In Clone Class before Amber Lopes spoiled the sweep by winning the last heat.
Corrado remains in command of the overall standings with 447 points, while Lopes, who started the season late, has 207 points.
Blake Camara won the first heat in the Senior In Clone Class before David Brewster dominated the rest of the day’s racing. Camara was second in the final three heats while Justin Frank recorded four thirds.
Brewster is the overall leader with 650 points, 86 points ahead of Camara while Frank is a further 83 points behind.
