By Mikaela Ian [email protected] | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

TUESDAY, MAR. 8: The first e-waste recycling day for the year will be held on Saturday.

The event will take place at Tynes Bay on Palmetto Road from 9am to 5pm.

Residents are encouraged to bring their old, worn out electronics to be recycled, from battery operated toys and hair dryers all the way up to computers - anything powered by a battery or a plug.

Items may include air conditioners, monitors, televisions, keyboards, telephones, cell phones, printers and more.

All recyclable materials, including e-Waste, are sent to EPA-approved recycling facilities to ensure they are handled with maximal concern for the environment and worker safety.

For commercial loads please contact [email protected] or telephone Stephen Gilbert at 501-3024.
