Duffy to get award from Potts?
World number three Andy Potts will hand out awards at the $50-a-head dinner at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club on Saturday night, with Flora Duffy expected to add to her growing trophy collection by being crowned tri-athlete of the year.
A series of other awards will be handed out to Bermuda's triathletes at the banquet, while U.S. Olympian Potts will also talk about his distinguished career.
He'll also give clinics at Clearwater Beach on Saturday morning from 9-10.30am for juniors and for adults from 11 until 12.30am.
Potts, a graduate of Michigan State University, only started training full time in 2002, but his ascent has been rapid.
He finished 11th at his first ever World Championships and qualified for the Athens Olympics in '04 where he finished 22nd.
He has since gone on to win several World Cup events and achieve a ranking of number three in the world.[[In-content Ad]]
