It was a dream result for the Dream Team - a 20-0 wipe out of Top Riders. That coupled with Spare Collectors losing 19 to 1 to X-Em Out left Dream Team with a stone's throw of getting out of last place in the Perfect Storm League.

X-Em Out used their big victory to propel themselves from fifth to third in the standings.

The Dream Team had fine performances all around with Nathanial Ray and Kathydell Hayward-Ming leading the way. Ray rolled a 206 on his way to a 537 series whil Hayward-Ming used a 197 game as a foundation for her 549 series. And, for good measure, Quinton Hayward chipped in a 189 game.

The Dream Team had a 1,599 series to Top Riders 1,248 - the league low.

X-Em Out saw Maryellen Jackson bowl a 197 game and lead all bowlers with a 559 series. Rita Smith also helped with her 526 series.

X-Em Out outrolled Sparec Collectors 1,541 pins to 1,326.

The night's other match at Southside Family Bowl saw top teams Razorblades and Team Zone draw 10-10, leaving the Blades with a 17.5 game lead.

Donald Dane rolled a 500 series for Razorblades while JJ Smith had a 187 game and 513 series for Team Zone while team-mate Carolyn Welch also threw in a 200 game.

The pin fall was fitting for this drawn match as Razorblades only had one more pin - 1,489 to Team Zone's 1,488.

Standings: 1. Razorblades 256-124; 2. Team Zone 238.5-141.5; 3. X-Em out 170-210; 4. Top Riders 161-219; 5. Spare Collectors 160.5-219.5; 6. Dream Team 154-226.

Barritt's League

Stash T caused Pembroke Juniors to stumble as they rumble on to the league title. Stash T beat the league leaders 21 to 9.

That allowed second place PHC to make a big gain as they extinguished the Sparks 24 to 6.

Other scores saw Buy & Sell down Southside Two 23 to 7; Southside One edged Young Bloods 15.5 to 14.5; and Logic Rollers defeated The Old & the New 25 to 5.

Buy & Sell had the highest series with a 2,664. The next highest pinfall went to Logic Rollers (2,584) and Stash T (2,549).

Kevin Swan rolled a 247 to top all bowlers. Reginald Saunders (236) and Miles Smith (225) had the next highest games.

Standings: 1. Pembroke Juniors 430-140; 2. PHC 419-151; 3. Buy & Sell 373.5-196.5; 4. Southside Two 302.5-267.5; 5. Stash T 277.5-292.5; 6. Young Bloods 262-308; 7. Sparks 226-344; 8. Logic Rollers 223.5-346.5; 9. Southside One 187-383; 10. The Old & the New 149-421.[[In-content Ad]]
