Double Trouble douse Inferno

FRIDAY, DEC. 14: The Bermuda Police Service Blue Lanterns used a 2335 series to defeat Spinners 4-0 in Commercial League bowling at Warwick Lanes. In a matchup of the league’s top two sides, Double Trouble prevailed 3-1 over Team Inferno.

Billy Glasford had the high scratch game with a 241. McQuinn Burch had a 232 while Matthew Taylor rolled a 225.

Sandra Ford had the high game for women with a 177, just one pin better than Shannon Rose and three more than Wendy Smith.

Rose had the high handicap series for the women.

Russ Ford had the high handicap series among the men with a 650. Burch was second with a 635 while Terence Minors and Dennis Joell both had a 614.

Barritt’s League

Pembroke Juniors continue to roll as they thrashed bottom club Young Bloods 28 to 2. The victory helped increase their league lead by eight games.

Christopher Leverock had a big night as he bowled a 239 game and 626 series.

Carlton Hayward (219) and Ty Williams (214) had the second and third high games while LeVince Samuels (581) and Vernon Daniels (565) had the second and third high series.
