DeGrilla and Showers in season ending battle
Brandon Simmons has a bit more breathing room in the Mini Bike Open Class as he has a 23-point advantage over rival Shae Darrell.
Shannon Caisey should win the 125 GP Class over Josonne Smith. Caisey would basically not have to finish with Smith winning each race.
Paul DeCouto said Sunday's racing will be a festive affair with karters, remote control racers, BMX bikes and stunt riders Bermuda's Most Wanted as part of the attraction.
DeCouto won't have any worries about any challenges to the 600cc title as the third-year racer already has the crown locked up.
"There's still a few titles to be won with everyone in each class going for the number one plate."
DeCouto says the secret of his success this season is his Yamaha bike is a "good machine" and he's kept up the maintenance to make sure it was running steady. He's also changed the tyres every other race day.
"Tyres are important," he said. "I've learned that power is nothing without control."
DeCouto added that he's also kept himself in better shape this year.
"I've started exercizing a lot, which has helped. I also stopped drinking."
Last year DeCouto was third overall in the 600cc Class. Stephen "Dunkin' Paynter is four points ahead of Antoine Richards in the class.[[In-content Ad]]
