THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27: Progressive Labour Party Warwick North East Member of Parliament Dale Butler will be hosting two public forums over the next week, to help galvanise the Warwick community into action.

“While canvassing my constituency, a high priority issue on the minds of the residents of Warwick North East has been the economy, and more specifically, employment. I have therefore decided to hold two public forums where the community can engage in productive discussion,” MP Butler stated.

The first forum, focused on Unemployment and Young Men will be on Thursday, October 27 at 7:30pm at Warwick Workman's Club.

“With many skilled and educated young men finding themselves unemployed during this economic downturn,” Mr. Butler said, “the purpose of this meeting is to bring these young men and their parents or supporters together, at one time, to form think tanks and to network.”

Panelists for the second forum - "You, Me & The Economy", - scheduled for Thursday, November 3, at 7:30pm at Warwick Workman's Club, will include Premier & Minister of Finance, the Hon. Paula A. Cox JP, MP; the Minister of Economy, Trade & Industry, Senator the Hon. Kim Wilson, JP; as well as renowned Bermuda College lecturer Mr. Craig Simmons.

All residents of Warwick and the wider community are invited to attend.

In announcing these events, Mr. Butler stated that he believes that community engagement will contribute substantially to solving the problems that are currently affecting Bermuda.

This initiative is part of the Progressive Labour Party's mission of Moving Bermuda Forward together.

The PLP strongly encourages the public to attend these forums.
