Crumpler's 30 points keep Paget undefeated

Charjuan Knights helped St. George's International pick up their first victory in the BBA-CellularOne Basketball League.

Knights scored 23 points and picked up 14 rebounds as St. George's beat the winless Hamilton Tsunamis 64 to 48.

Phil Davis had 23 points and 10 boards in a losing effort while team-mate Shawn Palmer also added 10 rebounds.

Warwick 42, Somerset 23

Warwick Rim Rockers ran their record to 2-0 with a victory over Somerset Flyers 42 to 23.

Tatem Ford led Warwick in scoring for the second week in a row, by getting 12 points.

Derek Hendrickson had nine rebounds in the victory.

Ray Sillar was high man for Somerset again, this time scoring eight points. Adrian Levine cleaned the glass for 13 rebounds for Somerset.

Cane Toads 70, Dragons 36

In a battle of teams searching for their first win, the Pembroke Cane Toads downed the Devonshire Dragons 70 to 36.

Greg Todd had a double-double for the Cane Toads with 27 points and 12 rebounds.

Jermaine Richardson and Randy Simmons led the Dragons with 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively.

Chargers 53, Titans 44

The Southampton Titans suffered their first loss as the Hamilton Parish Chargers defeated them 53 to 44. Johnny Minors was major for the Chargers as he scored 22 points while Shaun Brown chipped in 12 rebounds.

Leyde St. Ledger was the big man for Southampton with 14 points and 8 rebounds.

Paget 71, Smith's 45

The Paget Bearcats won the battle of the unbeatens as it declawed the Smith's Wildcats 71 to 45. Chris Crumpler is now averaging 35 points on the season after scoring 30 against the Wildcats. Dale Butler was big down in the paint again, picking up 18 rebounds.

Jason Simons had 17 points and 9 rebounds for the Wildcats.[[In-content Ad]]
