Choctaw breaks away from the pack in the Warriors League
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7: Choctaw surged to the top of the Warriors League with a 3-1 victory over Seminoles.
Eldon Landy (228), Maxwell Hassell (216) and Marjorie Armstrong (207) all rolled 200 games.
High handicap series honours went to Treymayne Bean with a 693. Noel Cann’s 683 was the second high handicap series while Vaughn Simons (616) rounded out the top three men.
Sharon Bean’s 658 was the tops among the ladies with Carol Edness (642) and Sarine Babb (630) making the honours’ list.

Double Trouble was able to move within a whisker of first place after defeating Colonial Braves 4 to 0.
Trouble now trails Sweet Life by half a game for the top spot.
Billy Glasford bowled a league high 241 game. Tiffany Glasford was the top woman and second overall with a 233.
McQuin Burch (232) and Matthew Taylor (225) were the second and third high men while Tine Sims 9187) and Sharon Gibson (183) made the honours list for the women.
Tiffany Glasford had the high handicap series with a 717 with Taylor taking the top honour among men with a 661.
Bianca Glasford (628), Marilyn Simmons (620), Billy Glasford (643) and Dennis Joell (635) all had high handicap series.

Continental League
Just when it looked like Cubs might run away from the rest of the pack, Pinsplitters brought them back to reality.
Pinsplitters beat Cubs 26 to 4, which allowed Invaders to gain 22 games on the frontunners to cut their lead to 11.5 games.
Aldred Wright rolled a 229, two pins better than Dayvon Tucker and three more than Anthony Hayward and Tango Burgess. Hayward, however, had the top series with a 651 followed by Gregory Simons (627) and Brian Botelho (612).
Rochelle Harvey topped the 200 mark by four pins while Millie Francis hit it right on the nose. Marjorie Armstrong rolled a 196 game on her way to a 545 series.
Edna Mae Tuzo rolled a 540 while Pat Price’s 539 was the third high series by a woman.
