Centre to provide an afternoon of free health screenings for men
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 25: The Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is offering an afternoon of free health screenings for men.
The service was made possible thanks to the generous funds raised during the 2011 Movember Campaign. It takes place at Shed number 6 on Front Street on February 2 from noon until 6pm.
These health screenings will be performed by professional staff who will be able to answer any questions about men’s health.
Encourage your husband, father, brother and any other man who is important in your life to attend this free event. Screenings will include:
- Blood glucose
- Blood pressure
- Body composition
- Lung function
- Foot exam and more
Physicians and nutritionists will be available for brief consultations.
The Men’s Health Screening is an initiative targeted toward men over 40 yrs of age who are uninsured, or who do not visit their doctor at on least an annual basis.
