Caisey holds onto lead over Whitter
Whitter pipped rival Shannon Caisey in both races with Raymond Masters taking third in the first and young Toriano Wilson running the leaders close to pick up a podium finish in the second.
A relieved Whitter said he was delighted to have got back to winning ways after two bad race days.
He's now up to second in the GP 125 championship standings, just behind Caisey.
"It was my best day of the season. It definitely felt good to win again after the start to the season I have had.
"It was a tough battle again with Caisey and I think it's going to be a battle to the end this season.
"I've just got to take the wins when I can and try and push up and get back on top."
In the scooter class Ed Cook continued his brilliant start to the season with two wins.
Cook senior is in blinding form since he got his new bike and last year's front runners, his brother John Cook and Devon Bailey had to settle for a second and a third each.
But the scooter class is again shaping up to be one of the most exciting with the three front-runners having the crowd on the edge of their seats throughout.
David Jones snr had two more wins in the Superbike class, which he continues to dominate, while his son David Jones jnr was similarly successful in the junior mini-bike class, which he leads after three race-days.
Andrew De Costa and Shaquille Godfrey each had wins in the mini-bike open class while Bruce DeGrilla took the honours in the Stock Modified.
Tristan Francis won both miniGP80 Races.[[In-content Ad]]
