SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23: Triathlete Tyler Butterfield tasted podium success in his first event after the London Olympics.
He was second the Galveston 5150 in Texas. Butterfield’s time of 1:50:06 was 27 seconds behind winner Chris Foster of Redondo Beach, California.
Butterfield came out of the water in third place behind Barrett and Lauren Brandon of Fort Worth Texas.
Butterfield had a 55:19 bike while Foster clocked 54:42.
He finished up with a strong run of 34:20.
