Commercial League

Sylvia Richardson and Troy Darrell helped lead Sunset to a 3-1 victory over King Pins in the Commercial Bowling League.

The pair topped the league in several marks with Richardson having the high scratch game (222), high handicap game for women (276) and high handicap series (626). Darrell had the high scratch game for men (201), high scratch series for men (544) and high handicap series for men (598).

BTC rolled to a 3-1 triumph over Strikers thanks in part to Thalia Lightbourne's 186 scratch game and 607 handicap series.

Braves scalped Double Trouble 3-1 as Sharon DeShields (171 scratch game, 466 scratch series), Selena Lambert (228 handicap game) and Aesop Smith (597 handicap series) all contributed.

Spinners beat Sweet Life 3-1 and Do It Best Masters drew 2-2 with the Royal Gazette.

Warriors League

Commanche continued to open up their lead in the Warriors League with a 4-0 thrashing of Mohawk. Commanche had the high game with an 892 and high series of 2,620. Second place Navaho won 3-1 over Cherokee. Others cores saw Choctaw win 4-0 over Blackfoot and The Mohican's down Kickapoo 3-1.

Mark Gibbons had a great night as he rolled a 587 scratch series, barely missing out on his 600.

Mickael Ebbin (214) rolled the high scratch game. Sandra Ford (211) was the only other 200. Linea masters (197), warren Simmons (191) and Gilbert Trott (183) were the other high games.

Robin Simmons (686) and Virginia Bean (674) took high handicap series honours. Heman Smith (634), Johnny Binns (601), Charlene Gilbert (670) also had honours.

Perfect Storm League

The Razorblades cut up Throttle 4 17 to 3 to increase their lead over the Spare Collectors in the Perfect Storm League at Southside family Bowl. Throttle 4 got a good scratch series out of AJ Hayward (560), but that was the lone bright spot in their match against the Razorblades.

The Dream Team beat the Zone Team 17 to 3 as Jamey Alexander (202 scratch game) and Kathydell Hayward-Ming (509 scratch series) led the way. Rita Smith (203 scratch game) helped X-Em out slip past Top riders 12 to 8.

The other match saw the Spare Collectors beat Pin Rockers 15.5 to 4.5.[[In-content Ad]]
