Bowling
March Madness hits Warwick Lanes as the USBC championships start this Sunday and run through March 26. The men’s team championship is this Sundday with the men’s singles and doubles championship the following Sunday.
The women’s team event will be on March 19 with the women’s singles and doubles on March 26.
Commercial League
The King Pins have pulled within a game of BTC for the league lead with a 4-0 blanking of the Royal Gazette.
BTC, who have been in charge of the Commercial League race all season, fell to Do It Best Masters 3-1.
Other scores saw Strikers, Double Trouble and Sunset pick up wins.

Perfect Storm League
The Spare Collectors moved into first place in spite of them losing to Top Riders 13 to 7 last week.
Former league leaders Razorblades were not that sharp as they lost to the Zone Team 14 to 6.
Brion Estis paced the Zone Team with a 551 series, which he used a 224 game as the foundation. The Razorblades were paced by Flash Furbert’s 240 game. Reliable Glorita Hayward rolled a 192 game on her way to a 531 series for the Top Riders.
X-Em Out had the biggest win of the week with a 15.5 to 4.5 thrashing of cellar dwellers Pin Rockers. Maryell Jackson bowled a 221 game and 520 series for X-Em Out.
Derwin Smith and Kathydell Hayward-Ming led the Dream Team to a narrow 11-9 victory over Throttle Four. Smith rolled a 526 series and 227 game while Hayward-Ming pitched in with a 191 game.
