SUNDAY, AUGUST 26: Jessica Lewis is getting settled into the Olympic Village, preparing for the opening of the Paralympic Games on Friday in London.
Lewis, a wheelchair athlete, is Bermuda’s lone entrant for the Games.
She arrived in London on Friday and was quickly accredited.
Lewis will be Bermuda’s first ever wheelchair track athlete.
She and her coach, Ken Thom, went to the practice track on Saturday, which is a 25 minute bus ride from the Olympic Village.
Also on Saturday, was the official Bermuda flag raising ceremony in the Village.
Earlier this month, Lewis, 19, broke her own national record inthe 200m when she clocked 33.69.
She will compete in the 100m, 200m and 400m in London.
