Bean's seven RBI pace Panthers to victory
Uzi Fish 13, PC Panthers 16
A tight contest saw Panthers score five times in the last two innings to come away with the win. Tracey Bean was 4-6 with a homer and seven RBI to pace his side while Jessie Mills, Dion Ball and Allen Walker all had three hits for the victors.
Matt Durrant was 4-4 from the last spot in the order for Uzi and Selina DeSilva was 3-4. Durrant, Somers Carr and Cameron Moffit all homered in the losing cause.
Docksiders Tuff Dogs 17,
P & M 11
Justin Barritt (5-5) helped lead his team to victory when he smashed a three-run homer in the first inning to help the Dogs to a 7-4 lead they would never reliquinsh. Paul Aviles (3-5) and Richard Todd (2-4) also homered in the victory.
Deon Bell (3-4) knocked in five of P & M's runs on three homers. Mark Heauf (3-4) and Jon Gazzard (4-4) also hit well for P & M.
Soundstage 24,
Butterfield Bulldawgs 17
Soundstage pulled off their third straight come from behind victory. Butterfield roared off to a 15 to 1 lead only to see Soundstage scored 19 runs in the last two innings to pull off the improbable win. Steve Simons was 5-5 with a homer while team-mates Andrew Simpson (4-5, HR), Mike Jardine (4-4) Ryan Rabain (4-5) Don Burgess (4-5) all batted well.
Brian Ward (1-5) hit a grand slam for Butterfield while Matt Gorrell (5-5) Paul Cashin (4-5) and Donnie Moniz (3-4) all had good turns of the bat.
Marsh 7, Panthers 0
Marsh picked up the points from this game when Panthers could only field eight players.
C Division
BNY 16, TPC 14
BNY plated 10 runs in the first inning and then held off TPC's furious comeback attempt.
BNY was gifted 10 walks, with six of those runners scoring. Paul Thorne (3-3) was perfect at the plate while Chris Dizinno (1-3) hit a three-run homer for BNY.
Doug Woloshyn, Marshall Iris and Jermaine Dowling were all 3-4 for TPC.
