Bank reels in Hammerheads
Andrew Soares homered and drove in six runs, with John Uprichard adding four hits to drive in four. Buffy Marques brought in two runs for the Hammerheads.
BNY scored three runs in the sixth inning to edge KPMG by 13-11. Chris Dizinno (3 RBI) drove in the game winner, and Taragh Power brought in two runners in support. James Makin (4/5) knocked in four runs to lead KPMG.
Bermuda Blueprinting slammed Deloitte by 23-6, scoring ten runs in opening frame and never looking back. Stephen Bridges (7 RBI) cracked two homeruns, including a grand slam. Alex Melvin singled home two runs for Deloitte.
Marsh Madness scored four runs in the fourth inning as they slipped by Docksiders Tuff Dogs by 9-5. Tom McKevitt tripled home two runs in the win. Ryan Outerbridge hit a two-run homerun in defeat.
Bank of Bermuda Allpoints opened with nine runs in a high-scoring affair against Renegades, adding three runs in the fifth inning to claim an 18-15 victory. Ian Moores (HR) and Jason Pethick (HR) each drove in three runs in the win. Anthony Christopher (3/4) drove in three in the loss.
Endurance scored five runs in the fifth to edge BISYS by 14-12. Tom McArdle (3/5) homered and drove in five runs, with Dianne Blais (3/4) driving in three more. Marc Weaver drove in three for BISYS.
Butterfield Bank Bulldawgs crushed Robin Hood by 27-5. Paul Cashin (4/6) drove in five runs to lead the Bulldawgs, and Mike Salloum (5/6) brought home four. Adam Diel hit a three-run shot in defeat.
ACE edged Snowballs by 5-3 to move closer to a playoff spot. Heath Kihn hit a two-run homerun in the final inning to settle the game. Braxton Stowe collected three hits for Snowballs.
Sea Venture scored three times in the fifth inning to edge Castlewood by 13-11 and avoid a major upset. Steven Simons (3/3, 4 RBI) homered and Chris Coleman drove in three runs. Norm Snelgrove (4/4) slammed two homeruns and drove in six runs in his swan song game.
Little E’s shocked Tuff Dogs with a 10-2 win, scoring five times in the third while holding off the powerful Dogs’ offense. Mike Malott (3/4) and Tats Hosmino each hit a two-run homerun to lead the E’s.[[In-content Ad]]
