A Division

Rosa's Cantina Banditos 28, Cacies 17

The Banditos picked up their first-ever victory as they swept a double-header last Friday. Cacies jumped out to an 8-4 lead after two innings with Scott Shannon (3-4) blasting a three-run shot and pitcher Jeff Jane (5-5) driving in a pair of runs. Shawn Wood (2-5) and Kevin Albrecht (3-5) would later homer to dry to claw the team out of a hole. Rosa's put up eight runs in the third and never looked back. Jon Brunson (5-5) was perfect at the plate while Scott Campbell (3-6), Paulo Arruda (3-4) and Paul DeCouto (3-5, 6 RBI) all homered.

Rosa's Cantina Banditos 22, Bermuda Pest Control 15

The Banditos almost had a mercy win in this game too, but Pest Control scored six in the bottom of the fifth to help extend this contest to seven innings. Tammy Hall and Cam Morfitt were both 4-5 for Pest Control but it was teammate Rich Madeiros (3-5) who swung the big bat with a pair of homers.

Campbell (3-5) was the only Rosa's player to bat over .500 for the game as the Banditos took advantage of 10 errors. DeCouto (1-4), Tache King (2-5) and Graham Frith (2-4) each knocked in three runs.

P & M Electric 24, PCS Panthers 13

Electric slapped around PCS to the tune of 37 hits as they moved into a three-way tie for second. A seven-run fourth inning broke open this game. John Ray (5-6), Terence Corday (3-5) and MacLaren Lowe (5-5) all homered for P& M, David Floyd was 5-6 and Jon Tower, Danny Cook and Steven Simons were all 4-5. PCS manager Tracey Bean was 4-4 with a homer and pitcher Nyon Steede (3-4) also homered.
