Azamara Journey brings hundreds of tourists to Bermuda
THURSDAY, APRIL 5: Hundreds of tourists descended on Hamilton this morning after the Azamara Journey cruise ship arrived in Bermuda.
The ship, which carries just over 700 passengers, came alongside in the capital at 8am.
This morning, taxis and mini-buses jostled for position on Front Street as passengers headed out on tours of the island.
The Azamara Journey sailed into Bermuda from the British Virgin Islands and is scheduled to travel up to St George’s tomorrow morning as long as the winds do not get up too high.
The ship, which only visits Bermuda once this year, is due to leave the island on Saturday bound for Boston.
