All-stars take the field

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26: The stars are set to come out tonight at the Michael Preece Softball Stadium.

The Commercial Softball League’s All-star week starts tonight and runs through Friday.

One of the highlight games is set for Thursday at 7:30pm when the Bermuda’s Men team takes on a World’s Men. On Friday the Bermuda Women’s team will play a World Women’s side at 7:30pm.

Thursday and Friday’s game will be recorded by Bermuda Sports Network for airing on channel 82.

Tracey Bean, president of the CSL, said players selected for the Bermuda or World teams were selected by country of birth, rather than by status.

Bermuda men’s team: Jon Gazzard, Tracey Bean, Justin Barritt, Steve Simons, Terence Corday, Kenrick Richardson, Lovintz Tota, Richard Medeiros, Nyon Steede. Andrew Simpson, Jevanie ‘Smokey’ Fubler

Bermuda women’s team: Tache King, Sarah Robinson, Sakeena Wall, Anti Gibbons, Tiffany Swann, Carla Zuill, Rose Sanders, Stacy Bab, Shawnette Perot, Tawana Fox

World women’s team: Charlene Corday, Angela Bennett, Kortney Fasler, Diane Blais, Amy Renton, Kortney Weibe, Carol Otto, Lauren Wilson, Tina Robson, Christine Swan.
