The ACE Kings took two of three from the Butterfield Bulldawgs to win the Commercial Softball League's C Division playoff final. Butterfield took the first game 24 to 19 with ACE coming back to win the second game 8-4 - in spite of playing shorthanded.

Butterfield led 6-5 in the third before ACE broke open the game with a five-run outburst.

Paul DeCouto (3-4) hit a three-run homer in the inning. Earlier in the game Joe Bellanca (3-4) hit two homers. Jason Burns and Tina Robson were both 3-4 while Louis Gariepy was 2-3.

Matt Gorrell and Andre Patkos, the top two batters in Butterfield's lineup, were both 3-4. Chris Mclean and Mike Solloum were both 2-3.

Teams needed

The Summer Softball League is scheduled to start in June.

The league is still accepting new teams for both men's and co-ed divisions, but they have to sign-up by May 11.
