The Hon. Marc Bean, JP, MP, Leader of the Progressive Labour Party today announces two new Shadow Ministerial Appointments, as well as the reallocation of responsibilities affecting two Ministries.
Mr. Rolfe Commissiong, JP, MP will serve as the Shadow Minister of Workforce Development Mr. Commissiong is the Member of Parliament for Constituency 21, Pembroke South East.
Mr. Dennis Lister, JP, MP will serve as the Shadow Minister with responsibility for the Quangos. Mr. Lister is the Member of Parliament for Constituency 35, Sandys North Central, and is the longest serving Progressive Labour Party MP, having been first elected in 1989.
Also, responsibilities for National Drug Control and the Department of Corrections have been moved from under the remit of Mr. Michael Scott, JP, MP the Shadow Minister of Public Safety, to Ms. Kim Wilson, JP, MP, the Shadow Attorney General. Mr. Scott is the Member of Parliament for Constituency 36, Sandys North, and Ms. Wilson, is the Member of Parliament for Constituency 34, Sandys South Central.
