Fresh TV will be honouring Bermuda’s top musical talent at its inaugural Music Video and Awards tonight.
There will be performances, live video mixing, Skype and Cable TV shout outs as well as the awards ceremony itself.
Artists to perform on the night include Jelani, Rasta Rebel, Imari, E-Levelz, Slanger, Whopper Benz and Jo-1 fresh from Nairobi (pictured).
There will be a VIP area for Friends of Fresh TV which includes champagne and hot hors d’oeuvres and ‘VIP treatment’.
The event takes place tonight from 9:30pm to 1am at Vision House, 44 Court Street, Hamilton City. Some members of the sporting and business community will also be honoured.
Fresh TV founder Elmore Warren told the Bermuda Sun: “It’s about having a celebration of our industry — that’s the most important thing — to show an appreciation of our artists. Many of the awards are attached to some of Bermuda’s cultural icons, past and present, including Lance Hayward, Eddy DeMello and Hubert Smith — some of the greatest in the industry. It is important to connect our young entertainers with the cultural icons of years gone by.”
The main event is free but due to limited space you must RSVP by either calling 533-9320, emailing [email protected] or by visiting the Fresh TV Facebook page and then collecting your wrist band.
Tickets for the VIP lounge are $75 for Friends of Fresh or $100 otherwise — the ticket will include membership to become a Friend of Fresh.
